About Babe's Blossoms

A Happy Place in a Peaceful Setting

Babe’s Blossoms provides a fun place for gardening! We like to think of it as a happy place in a peaceful setting. We are your go to place for gardening for all levels from beginners to seasoned gardeners. Providing a wide variety of annual plants, perennials , vegetables , potted plants , trees and shrubs is important to us. We’re here to provide the gardening supplies you want and the advice you need to plant and grow.

Helping people with their gardening hobby is one of the best things we get to do every day. At Babe’s Blossoms we take pride in providing homegrown perennials, annuals, potted plants and vegetables. Each of these plants that you find in our greenhouse is grown by us to provide you the highest quality, most beautiful plants possible. By starting these plants from seeds or small plugs we’re able to control the care environment from the start, eliminating the stress of plant transport. Our trees and shrubs are purchased from reputable growers.

Personally, I love to make things grow!

- CARA HANSON, BABE'S BLOSSOMS OWNER

Meet Cara

Cara Hanson purchased Babe’s Blossoms in 2017 from the previous owners who founded the business in 1996. Cara worked with them prior to purchasing the business. She grew up on a farm near Fairfax, MN and took an interest in gardening at a young age. Cara attended South Dakota State University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Landscape Architecture and Horticulture. When the opportunity arose, taking over Babe’s Blossoms was a natural transition. Cara’s favorite challenge is taking the remaining plants at the end of each season and finding ways to use them in her own yard. She doesn’t have a favorite plant, “I love them all. That is why I do what I do.”
